We carry out the full range of exterior painting.

Although decorating the exterior of your property will make it look great, don't just think about it for it's aesthetic purposes. A good quality exterior decorating job is the first in line for defence against the weather. This ensures that our windows/doors/fascias/render are protected from the elements for years to come.

For a standard exterior job in which we would be painting the windows, doors and fascias, we will start with a full sanding down using the Festool dust-free system to remove any defective paint. We then rake out any rotten wood and apply wood hardener to the affected areas. We wash down all surfaces with anti-fungicidal wash. Any holes will be filled with a 2 part resin filler or in extreme cases, have new wood spliced in to repair the damage. All bare wood will receive 2 coats of wood preserver followed by a full quick-drying micro-porous exterior paint system (this includes a primer, undercoat and 2 top coats of a gloss/satin or matte finish paint) to allow flexibility of the paintwork for when the wood contracts and expands and this provides a long lasting finish.
